Soon we will send you an email that will give you access to our new Cherwell Parent App which will replace Sims Learning Gateway. You will be able to access the system from a smartphone, tablet or PC – anytime, anywhere. We are certain that this will make it much easier for you to stay up-to-date with your child’s progress and achievement and strongly recommend that you down load the App. The SIMS Parent app can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store or the Play Store.

The Cherwell School is excited to announce that we are working towards the Investor in Careers Quality Award. The DfE statutory guidance (January 2018) strongly recommends schools achieve a Quality in Careers Award to demonstrate the quality of their CEIAG provision. For further information about Investors in Careers please go on https://investorincareers.org.uk/why-choose-iic/
This award will showcase our commitment to students to provide them with an outstanding Careers Provision that meets all of the eight Gatsby benchmarks. It will look carefully at our Careers Education programme from Year 7 to 13 and our partnerships with businesses, colleges and universities.
The Investor in Careers Award is about improving students’ awareness of opportunities, raising their aspirations and working with them to ensure they achieve their full potential.
If any parent/carer has any questions about this award or would like to discuss our careers programme which can be found on https://www.cherwell.oxon.sch.uk/enrichment/careers-centre
