We are delighted with these A level results which are in line with our best ever performance. So much of this is down to the hard work and determination of students and staff, alongside the invaluable support of parents and carers. We are especially pleased with our % passes at A*-A and A*-B which are both records for Cherwell. Along with the overall headline figures shown above well over half of the year group achieved at least one A* or A grade.
As one of the largest and most successful state funded school Sixth Forms in the country it is fantastic to see so many students having done well right across the ability range. This cohort was made up of over 250 students and I am so pleased for them and for their teachers
With results like these our students are very well placed to take up their places at universities or their career paths in line with their intentions; they were a wonderful year group, contributed so much to the school and have deserved their success.
Please note that exam results can only be given to a third party, including parents, if they bring written permission from the student. We have a form for this purpose which is available here.

The Cherwell Travel Action Group meets once or twice every term to discuss how to make travel to and from school safer and environmentally sustainable.
We aim to advance the education of students in the school by developing relationships between parents/carers, teachers and governors.
